The Health Foundation for Western & Central New York and ITNAmerica are now accepting proposals for Accelerate Community Transportation (ACT), a new program and funding opportunity for organizations who are working on, or planning to work on, programs that enhance transportation options in our community.
What is ACT? Accelerate Community Transportation (ACT) is a new grant program designed to help community-based organizations eliminate barriers by offering sustainable volunteer transportation services.

Who is eligible? Representatives from community-based organizations that currently offer, or are planning to offer, a volunteer transportation program for people in under-resourced communities who may face barriers to safe, reliable transportation.
Your organization must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)3 status or affiliated with one who can receive and manage grant funds on their behalf, a County Office for the Aging, or a Tribal Government and operate in one of the 16 western and central New York counties that we serve.
What does the funding include? In addition to funding, grant recipients will receive free access to the ITNCountry platform and enhanced support for two years. There are 10 two-year grants available.
