In partnership with The Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation, we commissioned Harder + Company Community Research to evaluate the PEDALS: Positive Emotional Development and Learning Skills, a multi-year initiative designed to improve the social and emotional well-being of children.
PEDALS introduced evidence-based social-emotional curricula and quality improvement methods to preschool teachers, teacher assistants and administrators in clasrooms at sites across Erie and Niagara counties in western New York.
This report presents findings from the two years of PEDALS, looking at both implementation and outcomes.
