Building on what we learned from our Neighborhood Action Initiative in western New York, we partnered with The Gifford Foundation to bring the program to central New York in 2011.
Through the Neighborhood Action Initiative, we provided neighborhood-based organizations with funding to develop strategies to help older adults continue to live in their homes as they age.
As in western New York, we used a Concept Mapping process to gather information and ideas from residents in each community to help guide our focus for the program. This report provides an overview of the Concept Mapping data collection process as well as an analysis of the Concept Mapping results.
