Judith Vicks Sweet, CFA

Judith Vicks Sweet, CFA, joined the Health Foundation’s Board of Trustees in June 2025. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, she brings extensive experience in finance and portfolio management.

Judy is the past President of Strategic Financial Services, a financial advisory firm with headquarters in Utica, NY.  She currently serves as a Senior Advisor and Partner.

Over the past 30+ years, Judy has worked with many individuals, business owners, nonprofit institutions, and retirement plans in developing comprehensive investment programs. She works closely with many accountants and attorneys to facilitate appropriate tax, retirement and estate strategies for Strategic’s clients. She also spends much of her time helping widows, widowers, divorcees, and clients who are going through sensitive financial transitions.

Judy currently is on the investment committee for the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York, a Director and Treasurer of Save The River, and a member of the Finance and Development Committee of the International Thyroid Oncology Group.   Past community service work includes serving as Director of the Lifetime Healthcare Companies Governing Boards for Excellus and MedAmerica, a volunteer for the United Way, a director of the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce and many other not for profits.  She was also included in the list of Top 25 Women-owned Registered Investment Advisors for three consecutive years in Wealth Management Magazine.

She has two grown children and lives in Skaneateles with her partner, Dr. David Churchill.
