Diane Oyler has joined the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York as program officer, Health Foundation President Ann F. Monroe announced Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Before joining the Health Foundation, Oyler spent eight years with Erie County Department of Senior Services. In her most recent role as coordinator of neighborhood services, she led the Department’s efforts to coordinate delivery of Older American Act services through a network of public and non-profit agencies. Key responsibilities included overseeing departmental planning activities, services system development, identification of new resources to improve and expand services to Erie County’s older adults and contributing to advocacy efforts.
Oyler is also a lecturer at Buffalo State College where she teaches for the college’s public administration department.
She earned her Ph.D. in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and is a graduate of the Health Foundation’s Health Leadership Fellows program.
Oyler is a resident of South Buffalo.
