Michael Rosenthal has joined the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York as a policy fellow intern in the Syracuse office, Health Foundation President Ann F. Monroe announced Tuesday, December 15, 2015.
As the Foundation’s inaugural Policy Fellow, Rosenthal will be performing research related to Foundation priority areas that support current and future programming and policy work. He will also prepare and write policy briefs and other documents that will be used to inform Foundation staff, and serve as a resource for policy-related questions and issues.
Rosenthal holds an associates degree in business administration from Onondaga Community College and a bachelor’s degree in political science from SUNY College at Cortland, where he received the 2014 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and the William Rogers Memorial Award for Highest GPA in Political Science. He currently resides in Syracuse, NY and is working towards his Master of Public Health at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
