Health Foundation Announces Staff Promotions

The Health Foundation for Western & Central New York has announced the promotion of three staff members in recognition of their commitment and achievements on behalf of the Health Foundation’s mission.

Diane Oyler

Diane Oyler, PhD, has been promoted to Executive Vice President. Diane joined the team at the Health Foundation in 2016 as Program Officer, and most recently served as Vice President of Programs. In her new role, she will provide strategic oversight, leadership, and direction for the Health Foundation’s work, including programs and grantmaking, advocacy, organizational strategic planning, and partnership building.

Ken Genewick

Ken Genewick, MBA, has been promoted to Vice President of Programs. Ken joined the Health Foundation in 2018 in the role of Program Officer for Caregiving through a partnership with the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation. In his new role, Ken will lead the program team as they develop and implement community partnerships that improve the health of communities in the 16 counties the Health Foundation serves. Ken will continue to oversee programs that address the unique challenges and needs of caregivers for older adults in partnership with the Wilson Foundation.

Marnie Annese
Marnie Annese

Marnie Annese, MPH, has been promoted to Senior Program Officer. Marnie joined the Health Foundation in 2018 as Program Officer. In her new role, she will guide and strengthen the Health Foundation’s programs serving children ages zero to five and improving maternal/infant health outcomes, including Help Me Grow, PEDALS, doula initiatives, Liftoff, and more. Marnie serves as the Health Foundation Racial Equity Impact Analysis Coach.

Diane, Ken, and Marnie are graduates of the Health Foundation’s Health Leadership Fellows program.
