Central New Yorkers are invited to attend a Syracuse-based in-person convening to facilitate information sharing, planning, and strategy in anticipation of proposed changes to New York State’s Medicaid program through the proposed 1115 waiver amendment. Register here.

This event will be held in conjunction with a simultaneous gathering in Buffalo, and will include Zoom viewing of presentations from the Buffalo event, including video keynote remarks from Selena Hajiani, Director of Strategic Operations and Planning, New York State Department of Health.

Join us to meet with other leaders from throughout central New York and discuss these important changes. The waiver amendment, “New York Health Equity Reform (NYHER): Making Targeted, Evidence-Based Investments to Address the Health Disparities Exacerbated by the COVID-19 Pandemic,” has a strong focus on health equity and the integration of social care, and may present new opportunities for partnership and involvement for those who work in these areas.

Please join us if you are in a decision-making role in community and social care, public health, health care systems, or related focus areas.
