How do we measure value in healthcare? How can organizations and providers move forward in the shift to value based payment?
You are invited to VBP Forward, a conference for over 200 professionals who care for Medicaid and Medicare special needs or complex populations. Sponsored by The Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, along with other area organizations, this conference features keynote speakers Jason Helgerson, Francois De Brantes, and Dr. Alisahah J. Cole, who discuss best practices for strategizing, planning and implementing steps to actualize value based payment.
Although value based payment increases the focus on patient outcomes, it also presents complexities in the transition from fee for service, particularly in organizations that service Medicaid and Medicare special needs or complex-care populations. Attendees will leave with a roadmap for navigating the transition.
Attendees will also hear from the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York President, Nora OBrien-Suric, along with other local area Foundation representatives, on how Managed Care Organizations can support community based organizations in their transition to new payment models.
