The Health Foundation for Western and Central New York appointed two new members to its Board of Trustees at its June meeting.
Carrie Whitwood, of Wellsville, NY, is the executive director at Ardent Solutions. Previously, she was the assistant director of community solutions at United Way of the Southern Tier. Whitwood is a 2009 graduate of the Health Leadership Fellowship program.
Marybeth McCall, MD, retired in 2016 as the vice president and chief medical officer for the Central New York and Southern Tier regions of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. She served as chief medical officer of Rome Hospital prior to joining Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. McCall is a resident of Utica, NY.
