Because we value hearing from and being responsive to our community partners, the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York periodically considers unsolicited funding requests from nonprofit organizations in the counties we serve.
We are accepting online submissions for grant funding through our Fluxx grants management portal. Your organization does not have to be a previous Health Foundation grantee to apply. We love making new partnerships, and we are especially interested in working with grassroots organizations and those who serve people of color and under-resourced communities.
Interested in submitting a proposal for funding? Click here to begin the application process via the Health Foundation’s Fluxx portal. NOTE: If you do not already have a Fluxx account, please follow the brief prompts to set up your new account.
When preparing and submitting a proposal, keep these basic guidelines in mind.
Your project should be aligned with the Health Foundation’s strategic plan and vision, and support one or more of our three focus areas: older adults, children ages zero to five who are impacted by poverty, and community health capacity. The Health Foundation’s vision is a healthy central and western New York where racial and socioeconomic equity are prioritized so all people can reach their full potential and achieve equitable health outcomes.
Once the proposal is received, our team will thoroughly review your request. Please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee project funding.
