The Health Foundation for Western and Central New York elected three new members to its Board of Trustees at its annual meeting in March.
Also at the annual meeting, Joseph Cozzo was named chair of the board. Cozzo is president and chief executive officer for Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center, and is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a nationally certified trauma counselor. He is a 2010 Health Leadership Fellow for the Health Foundation, and previously served as vice chair of the board. Leola Rodgers, president and chief executive officer of Syracuse Community Health Center and prior associated administrator at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital of SUNY Upstate Medical University was named vice chair; Raymond D’Agostino, partner at Hancock Estabrook, LLP was selected as secretary. Vincent Mancuso, retired senior executive vice president, group audit and North America, at HSBC Bank, will remain as treasurer.
The Health Foundation’s newly appointed trustees are Robert Delorme, Leanne Fiscoe and Ann Ziegler Sedore.
Robert Delorme is a family practitioner and medical director of the family health centers for Community Memorial Hospital. He is also vice president of primary care physicians services and vice president of medical affairs for the hospital. Delorme is a resident of Hamilton, NY.
Leanne Fiscoe is the former senior vice president of compliance and integrated solutions for Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Group. She was previously with Countryway Insurance Company, where she was senior vice president of operations and a member of the board of directors. Fiscoe is a resident of Camillus, NY.
Ann Ziegler Sedore retired in January of 2016 as the chief nursing and clinical services officer for Crouse Hospital, where she previously served as the director of the hospital-based associate degree program in nursing. She is currently a women’s services consultant for the hospital. Sedore is a resident of Liverpool, NY.
“Our Board is deeply committed to the Foundation’s mission to improve the health and health care of the people and communities of western and central New York, and these outstanding new board members bring valuable additional expertise that will help us achieve our goals across our three focus areas,” Cozzo said.
