The State of Medicaid in New York: Progress and the Road to Value-Based Payments

New York State Medicaid Director Jason Helgerson updated the community on the progress of Medicaid redesign and value-based payment strategies to promote and sustain reforms at “The State of Medicaid in New York.”

New York’s efforts to reform Medicaid, including DSRIP and Patient Centered Medical Homes, are focused on fundamentally reshaping the program to improve care and reduce costs.
