Babette Baker

As a consultant and nonprofit professional, Babette Baker has over 35 years of experience supporting nonprofits, businesses, and municipalities in program design/development, process facilitation, grants administration, fiscal management, marketing, and program assessment/evaluation. She has also held roles from Coordinator to Executive Director in nonprofit agencies, municipalities, and community-based organizations around the country. Although she has been consulting in the sector for many years, she officially launched Paideia PM in 2013.

In the past ten years, Babette has focused her consulting on federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), healthcare equity, social determinants of health, and community health planning and design. She continues to work with other nonprofit organizations with strategic planning, fiscal management, program evaluation, and economic and community development.

She was a fellow in the Leadership Greater Bellevue/Redmond Program and the National United Way Program on Nonprofit Leadership. She has also earned certificates in Community Leadership, Grassroots Organizing, and Economic Development from NeighborWorks. Her experience includes delivering workshops on capacity building, strategic planning, grant writing, board development, grassroots engagement, and program evaluation. Ms. Baker is very active in her community, and she sits on several nonprofit boards and donates 10% of Paideia’s services to under-resourced organizations in her community.

Babette holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in African/American Studies from Colgate University and has completed graduate coursework in the Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation Program at Syracuse University. She recently completed certificate programs in Strategic Planning from Claremont Graduate College’s TEI Institute and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School, as well as Coach Certification from Co-Active Institute (ICF Accredited.)
