Franca Trincia, CPA

Franca Trincia, CPA, joined the Board of Trustees in 2024. Ms. Trincia is a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant with experience in public accounting and private industry.

She has served as Chief Financial Officer of VIA – Visually Impaired Advancement since 2014. First established in Buffalo in 1907, VIA has a rich history of helping people who are blind or visually impaired achieve their highest level of independence.

Ms. Trincia’s previous roles include serving as Controller for both GAR Associates, Inc. and Kraftwerks, both Buffalo-based businesses. She also was Senior Audit and Tax Manager for Fiddler and Company, LLP, Certified Public Accountants.

She is Past President and Director of the New York State Society of CPAs and a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitrator. Her community service experiences has also included serving on the boards for: New York State Society of CPAs; Hauptmann-Woodward Medical Research Institute; Public Health Collaborative of WNY; and Just Buffalo Literary Center, as well as on the Advisory Committee for the Buffalo Center for Health Equity.
